Whipkey's Weekly Update ~ 2/22-2/26/10
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- Reading: Reading groups continue! Novels, Reader's Theater, games and skills based worksheets will abound!
- Math(Whipkey Only): Geometry/Measurement ~ Homework comes home nightly and is due the next day!
- Language Arts: DLR(grammar & mechanics), "Hook 'ems," Descriptive writing with figurative language, Writing Essential Learnings Assessment (Tues. & Weds.)
- Science: Ecosystems/Ecocolumns, CSAP Review packets coming home as homework!!
- 2/23/10 - Class Pictures
- 3/2, 3/3, 3/4, 3/9, 3/10, & 3/11 - CSAPS - PLEASE BE HERE!!! Get well-rested and fed!! Be Prepared to BE AWESOME!!!!
- 3/22-3/26/10- Spring Break
- 4/14/10 - Science Fair Projects Due (Info. will be coming home next week)
- 4/15/10 - Science Fair & Night of Excellence
