Learning Goals:

• Whipkey's Math: Comparing & Ordering Decimal Numbers, Adding/Subtracting with Decimals, Fractions and Facts Practice
• Reading: Hatchet (Chapters 10-15) & GATE groups begin!
  
• Media Integration: Country of Comparison project! Students will research a country of their choice and compare it with the U.S.A.!!
• Language Arts: Six Traits Writing Skill of the Week is "Word Choice." Students will focus on creating writing pieces with "juicy" word choice. Students will also work on journaling, grammar, and spelling activities in class.
• Science: Microworlds - Investigations using microscopes!
  
• Social Studies: History Alive! Chapter 2 - Native Americans
