Learning Goals:

• Whipkey's Math: Gathering Data, Charts, Graphs, and Facts Practice
• Reading: Hatchet (Chapters 11-16)
  
• Media Integration: Country of Comparison project! Students will research a country of their choice and compare it with the U.S.A.!!
• Language Arts: Six Traits Writing Skill of the Week is "Organization." Students will continue practicing 5 paragraph essays. We will also work on journaling, grammar, and spelling activities in class.
• Science: Chapter 2 & Landforms science kit activities to begin soon!
  
• Social Studies: History Alive! Chapter 2 - Native Americans
